Authority Training

AUTHORITYPRO Program

AUTHORITY TRAINING

In-person seminars that focus on specific aspects

of the Authority which make the difference between "breaking through" the mind and the hearts of people and leave them completely indifferent.

AUTHORITATIVE LEADERSHIP

Before asking yourself HOW to lead others, you should first understand WHO you're leading.

There are basically only two modalities (not to be confused with "styles", of which there's plenty out there) of Leadership: there is a mechanistic modality, which is by far the most applied by leaders around the world and which, as the word suggests, reflects the way machines work; and there's a systemic modality, which the one that people are less acquainted with, but it's unquestionably more compatible with the way societies and organizations are developing, making them definitely more sustainable.

As human beings, we are all "natural," not machines. However, because most of the leadership that we see around is mechanistic, understanding and applying the true dynamics of systems-based leadership will produce nothing short of extraordinary results.

AUTHORITATIVE SPEAKER

If a picture is worth a thousand words, an action is probably worth a million!

While your leadership may be authoritative and your intentions may be commendable, what and how you communicate will make the difference between having people follow you and having them ignore you.

Suppose you are a primary school teacher and you have to explain multiplications to your students. You go to the board and start doing one WITHOUT first explaining to the class how it's done.

What you did is an "action", but how likely is it that the students understood what you did... let alone start doing them on their own?

Pretty unlikely, right? Well, it’s the same with leadership.

It's not enough to be a great leader: you need to communicate what inspires you, what your intentions are, what you want to achieve and why, etc.

AUTHORITATIVE DECISION-MAKING

Most of the decisions we make are almost unconscious: I feel an itch and I decide to scratch myself; I feel cold and I decide to put on a sweater; I'm thirsty and I decide to drink, etc.

Then there are decisions that we make based on what we like or not: what am I preparing for dinner; where am I going on holiday; what can I do to avoid seeing a person, etc.

And again, there are decisions that affect the quality of our life or our work: what faculty do I want to graduate in; where do I want to go to live; what people do I want to interact with; and so on.

Finally, we make decisions that impact the "direction" that we want to take in our lives: the person we want to spend the rest of our life with; the work we really want to do; how we intend to contribute to our community (society, world, etc.)...

Decisions should not be made only by taking into account "external" factors, but also and foremost on the basis of what is going on within us.
